During the visit the 80/20 representative suggested the company exercise the 5S process of organization- Sort, straighten, shine, standardize and sustain. Our customer soon realized, that by using 80/20, they could easily design a workbench where everything used in their process could be put in its proper place, making inventory management much easier, hence streamlining their process.
Designed and built with 15 series extrusion, this workbench features a strong and solid tabletop, a shelf system for supplies and smaller tools made with economical but tough ABS Haircell, a deep swing out drawer made possible with living hinges for storage of larger tools, a bottom shelf for cardboard supplies, and an Akro® bin system for easy access to pieces and parts used in everyday tasks.
