80/20 Design Tools - The 80/20 CAD Browser

The 80/20 CADBrowser has been created to give you instant access to nearly every 80/20 product drawing. These files can then be used to help you design your own 80/20 project in AutoQuoterX™ or your own CAD design software.

Using this application, you will be able to customize a selection of files to download. Your selection will be compressed at the server and cannot exceed 20mb of data. The instructions below will guide you through this process step-by-step.

Minimum Requirements:

Microsoft® Internet Explorer 4.01
Winzip®, PKZIP®, PowerArchiver, or any decompression utility with ZIP capability.

Select a Category:

The first step is to choose one of the eleven categories that you want to search from. If you are unsure which category you need, you can select "All Parts".

Choose a Series:

Select a series of parts for which you are going search.

Searching:

Now you can type in a part number, partial part number, or leave it blank to get all parts for your category and series selected. Then click on the search button.

Results and Adding Parts:

Now that you have searched for you part(s) you should see one or more entries in the results list. If nothing is listed the part is not available for download or you may need to broaden your criteria. Select one or more parts in the results list. Check one or more of the boxes to the right of the list to choose the file type(s). If the check box is disabled the file type is not available. Below each check box you will see the total file size for your selection. Click the add button when you are ready to add the file(s) to your download selection. You can also choose to add all the results to your download selection.

Download List:

Here you will find a list of the files you have selected for download. If you wish to make your selection smaller simply choose a part and click the remove button to remove you selection. This will remove all file types for that part number. You can also clear the entire list by clicking remove all.

Part Information:

Anytime you select a part from the results list or the download list you will see information about the part here. Information will include Part Number, Series, and Categories to which the part belongs. When selecting from the results list you can see which file types you have selected and their size.

Previewing:

Whenever you select a single part from either the results list or the download list you can preview the part (provided you have Volo View express installed on your system).

At the bottom you will find a status bar that show the status of the CADBrowser and information about your download selection. Compress Time and Compressed Size are estimated.

Now you are ready to download. Simply click the download button and theprocess will be complete.
